Ebbw Vale Steam

An Ebbw Vale – Newport train leaves Crumlin Low Level Station in the late 1950s whilst (trying to obey the 8mph speed limit) a Pontypool – Neath train traverses the 200ft high Crumlin Viaduct. Built between 1852 – 1857 at a cost of £62,000, this famous landmark saw it’s last scheduled passenger train cross on June 13th 1964.
Demolition came in 1966.
